I will be receiving my ph.d. in clinical psychology at uc berkeley. This fall, I will begin a position as an assistant professor of psychology at yale. You can see my cv here. Please refer to my faculty profile and research lab for future information.

My research focuses on understanding the role of emotion in psychopathology and also how psychopathology alters emotion, with a particular interest in positive emotions. My work thus far has examined (1) positive emotion disturbance across psychological disorders (with a particular interest in bipolar disorder) and (2) more basic work on the normative physiological and behavioral functions of positive emotion states in healthy samples. I use experimental, correlational, and longitudinal designs and employ a multi-method approach that assesses emotional functioning at biological, behavioral, and experiential levels.
